These organic, whole pitted dates have a sweet caramel/toffee flavour and are wonderfully chewy and sticky in nature.
We stock whole pitted date which means that they have had their stone removed. Dates are a stone fruit which grow at the top of date palm trees.
Use them as a natural sweetener in cakes, desserts, porridge and puddings, or make your own energy bars, mixed with nuts, seeds and other fruit such as cranberries.
To make a delicious and easy appetizer, stuff the pitted dates with gorgonzola cheese, then wrap with prosciutto – yummy!
