Free Flexi Shipping
All the products we have in The Loose Larder are available to order online for home delivery to these local postcodes RG1, RG4 (5,7,8,9), RG7 (4,5,6,7), RG8, RG14, RG18, RG19, RG20 (8), RG30 and RG31. There is a minimum purchase of £10 to qualify for our free flexi delivery service and if you order by a Monday night we deliver the same week.
Deliveries are usually made on a Wednesday or Thursday. If you are not going to be in on a delivery day please leave a box outside your door for us to pop your goods in. We will drop you a text or leave you a message to let you know we’ve been. If you are super organised, please drop off your empty containers to The Loose Larder or Cheese Etc in advance, otherwise your goods will be delivered in recyclable paper bags. Household liquids will be filled into your own containers if you provide these but clearly, we can’t deliver liquids in paper so our online prices reflect that we ordinarily use our containers. (However, if you’ve dropped off your own for us to fill, thank you, and we will issue you with a refund for the cost of the container when your order is fulfilled).
*Flexi delivery is not available during Christmas periods.
If you live outside this area you can choose when and where you want your cheese delivery to be made. We deliver to most of the UK via an overnight courier or 1st class Royal Mail. Delivery is charged at £5.95 or is FREE for orders over £60.
Ordering
When you place an order online, it is classed as an offer. By proceeding through the checkout process and accepting our Terms and Conditions, you are making an offer to purchase the goods which, if accepted by The Loose Larder, will result in a binding contract.
Your completion of the checkout process does not constitute The Loose Larder’s acceptance of your order. Payment will be taken using your preferred method and an acknowledgment of receipt of your order will be emailed to you. Acceptance of your order and the formation of a contract between you and The Loose Larder will take place on dispatch to you of the products ordered, unless The Loose Larder has notified you that they do not accept your order, or you have cancelled it (please refer to Returns and Refunds).
Whilst your payment method will, therefore, be debited before the contract is formed, if your order is ultimately rejected, a full refund will be made immediately. If for some reason you do not receive an email acknowledging receipt of your order, yet your payment method has been debited, please notify The Loose Larder without delay.
Personal details and payment method information supplied by you must be correct and valid and such that you are authorised to use.
Pricing
Pricing includes VAT (where applicable) at the current rate. Prices may be updated periodically and this may affect orders already in the system. If so, The Loose Larder will inform you of the revised price before dispatching your order; you may then choose to accept or decline the order.
Payment is carried out through secure gateways using PayPal. This is a world-recognised and established company that accepts all major credit and debit cards. While The Loose Larder tries to ensure that all prices on their website are accurate, errors may occur. If they discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered, they will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If they are unable to contact you, they will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.
Cancellation
If you wish to cancel an order you have made, please contact The Loose Larder immediately. The Loose Larder may not accept cancellation of orders for perishable items, because cutting, packing and dispatch often happens very shortly after receiving the order. If The Loose Larder accepts the cancellation of your order, and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.
Returns and Refunds
You must inform The Loose Larder within 24 hours of any problem with your delivered order. Do not return the goods – The Loose Larder will organise a courier to collect them so they can be inspected and will endeavour to resolve your concerns without delay.
Returns of perishable items are normally only accepted if the goods are found to be damaged before delivery to you. If The Loose Larder accepts the return, and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.
Substitution
Occasionally it may not be possible to send you the exact item ordered. Should this occur The Loose Larder will dispatch a suitable replacement of equal quality and value. Where possible, you will be informed about the replacement and your agreement obtained before your order is dispatched.
Cutting and Weights
Our products are weighed by hand, by us in the shop. We are usually very efficient in weighing to an exact amount but occasionally we may weigh too much or too little. If we have supplied one item a little underweight we will make it up with a larger/heavier item.
